Your kid keeps shouting “67.” Here's the short version.
It started as Skrilla's shout-out to his block, 67th Street in Southwest Philly. There's no gang connection and no hidden meaning.
The album has no explicit lyrics and no mature themes. Skrilla's original track is Philly drill with content warnings, so that one is older-teen material. If it's taking over a classroom: acknowledge it, smile, move on. Bans tend to make it bigger.

From one block to the whole planet
Late 2024, Skrilla puts out “Doot Doot (6 7)”. Basketball TikTok picks up the sound. In March 2025 TK Kinney rates his coffee “six… seven” on camera, and that same month Maverick Trevillian screams “67!” at an AAU game. By mid-2025 the hashtag has passed a billion views and schools are trying to ban it.
We couldn't stop thinking about it, so we wrote songs about the people in those clips. What we didn't want was a parody record.
